Our Designveloper with a team of five joined in a global competition of AngelHack’s Vietnam 2016 Hackathon, which took place in Ho Chi Minh City on June 25th – 26th, 2016. With wonderful foods and drinks, and attractive prizes to win, AngelHack Ho Chi Minh 2016 Hackathon drew in all contestants, and of course, we were not an exception.
We arrived at Silicon Straits Saigon, the venue of AngelHack Ho Chi Minh 2016, in the early morning of Saturday, June 25th. After check-in, we attended the opening ceremony featuring a welcome speech from Mr. Kenneth Tuan Nguyen Minh – Head of Marketing of Silicon Straits – at 9 am. It could be seen that all competitors were ready for the competition with a steely determination of being the winner.
Designveloper Team Is Present
Coming to this competition, the Designveloper team brought out an application named Give on which you could exchange, give and receive old stuff that was no longer in use such as shirts, tables, or anything. Our aim was also to create an online community of those who were interested in doing charities with their outdated things.
Let’s see how we worked on Give at Hackathon Ho Chi Minh 2016.
And Here We Got Give Done
It was the second day that contestants felt stressed and tired. Luckily, foods and drinks were always available to re-energize them for the race. We also had time to relax and made friends together. Want to see some more photos of participants?
2 pm was a high time for us to present our project.
The Hackathon 2016 competition successfully ended with the first prize awarded to Kidfacts – an Android application helping educate kids through causes and results. Designveloper’s Give project was honored to be in the top 3 best projects of the contest. So you can know more about the list of Android app development languages by Designveloper
