Product Owner (Lumin Team)

We are currently seeking a talented Product Owner to join our team for an exciting project with one of our key clients, a renowned provider of mobile PDF editing tools. This role will work at the intersection of product, UX, engineering, and marketing with a clear goal to grow a powerful, user-friendly mobile PDF editor that delivers real value

Your Role

As a Product Owner, you will drive the evolution of our mobile PDF editing app from vision to execution. You’ll own the product roadmap, define and validate hypotheses through experimentation, and partner with development and marketing teams to deliver impactful features that improve both user experience and business performance.

Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy

◦ Define and evolve a clear product vision aligned with user needs and business strategy.
◦ Understand market trends and customer feedback to shape long-term product direction.
◦ Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain strategic alignment and buy-in.

Mobile Product Development

◦ Drive the roadmap for a mobile PDF editing experience that’s intuitive, performant, and scalable.
◦ Work with cross-functional teams (design, development, QA) to plan, scope, and deliver new features.

Experimentation & Growth

◦ Design and run A/B tests and growth experiments to improve retention, activation, and conversion.
◦ Collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Success teams to increase user acquisition and engagement.

App Store Optimization (ASO)

◦ Leverage ASO strategies to improve app visibility and downloads in both iOS and Android stores.
◦ Analyze ASO performance metrics and optimize keywords, creatives, and metadata.

Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

◦ Manage the product backlog, prioritize based on impact, and ensure timely delivery with Agile teams.
◦ Write clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
◦ Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Your skills and experience

Must-Haves

◦ 2+ years of experience in product ownership or product management, preferably in
mobile apps.
◦ Experience working in Agile development teams.
◦ Strong ability to define product goals, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly.
◦ Familiarity with React Native or mobile development (iOS/Android).
◦ Data-informed mindset; experience working with analytics tools and interpreting usage data.
◦ Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
◦ Strong ability to conduct thorough requirement analysis to ensure that the product meets
the needs of users and stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

◦ Experience in the document/PDF editing or productivity tools space.
◦ Knowledge of App Store Optimization (ASO) and tools like AppTweak, Sensor Tower, or Storemaven
◦ Comfortable working with tools like Superset, GA4, or similar.
◦ Basic SQL for data querying and analysis.
◦ Experience running A/B or multi-variant experiments.
◦ Strong collaboration with marketing/growth teams on user acquisition campaigns.
◦ Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the product’s development or success.
